Center for Pedagogy Planet Universe (C2PU)
This is an ambitious project unrivaled in Europe. At 50 km from Nice on the set of Calern, near the village of Caussol, students of IMAG2E may be immersed in an experimental lab dedicated to astrophysics and geophysics. Students will be supervised in series of tutorials designed not only to inculcate knowledge and experimental methodology but more to involve them in about ongoing scientific research.Thanks to the hotel infrastructure, with two telescopes with diameters of 1m rehabilitated and renovated for the occasion by the Observatoire de la Cote d'Azur, in collaboration with the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis and the College de France but also by geological and geophysical characteristics of the plateau Calern, C2PU is the preferred tool to train students in search of IMAG2E and research in the science of the planet and the universe.
