Goals
The objective of this master is to train in two years, experts in signal processing and modelling applied not only to our immediate environment: the Earth and its resources, but also to our far environment : the Universe. The focus is immediately set on the applications so that students can take advantage both in industry and in public research a wealth of practical and concrete experiences both in areas of modeling, signal processing and data management. The managements of resources, the prevention against hazards, are socio-economic issues that can only be approached by mastering predictional tools (modelling) and analytical ones (signal processing). Similarly unprecedent discoveries about the cosmos that will result of the new spatial and ground based instruments can not be understood outside of a triaxial expertise: theory, modeling and analysis of information. This master proposes to train students in direct contact with the major priorities of modern knowledge and makes it possible careers in private or public competitiveness clusters.
